The MAXI-COSI ROCK car seat is designed for newborns and children up to approx. 1 year of age, weighing up to 13 kg. It meets the conditions of the i-Size homologation, which guarantees an effective protection in both side and frontal collisions. MAXI-COSI ROCK is mounted facing rearwards, i.e. in the safest position for a child to travel. The ISOFIX base is used for this purpose, as it is equipped with a stabilising leg that provides a solid attachment and protection against the rotation of the seat while driving. The car seat is part of the Family Smart set and can be used with the FamilyFix One i-Size base.
Infant insert
The MAXI-COSI ROCK car seat comes with a special infant insert characterised by its soft and ergonomic shape. It provides additional protection for the child, filling the free space in the car seat. It keeps your baby in the right position, supporting his/her head and spine. The insert can be removed when your baby grows larger.
Side protection panels
The car seat is equipped with side protection. These are panels placed on the sides, which can be freely extended and retracted depending on where the rear seat is installed. The panel is always extended on the side of the car door. It reduces the distance between the car seat and the door.
Convenient installation
The seat is installed using an ISOFIX mounting base. You can use it in cars equipped with this system. It provides a solid and secure attachment. Thanks to the click and go system, the car seat can be easily and quickly clipped into the base. The seat can also be mounted with the car seat belts.
Clipped into the stroller frame
You can also use the seat for walks. It is compatible with most stroller frames. Some strollers require additional adapters, which are available from the manufacturers. A canopy that protects your baby from the sun will also be useful for walks.
