Car seat dedicated to children from the first days of life until they reach 13kg or height 87cm. The baby carrier complies with the i-Size standard and allows you to transport even the smallest children - from 40 cm up to approx. 15 months of age. It has aircraft approval. Combined with the modular Twist base and the Viaggio Twist armchair (available separately), it constitutes a set of safe and comfortable traveling for a child up to the age of four.
The Primo Viaggio Lounge baby carrier is characterized by the ability to unfold it into a lying position using the Comfort Recline system. This system allows the backrest to be lowered and the footrest to be extended, making the child's position more lying. While the baby carrier is attached to the i-Size base, the child can enjoy the most comfortable and ergonomic position also when driving a car. The advantage of the seat is the ability to set it in three positions - lying, sitting and semi-sitting - thanks to which the child is always comfortable on the stroller frame, depending on the needs.
The seat can be installed using the base (included) or by fastening the carrier itself with a three-point car belt. It is very important that if the seat is to be used in the unfolded (lying) position, it must be mounted on the mentioned Isofix base. The seat cannot be installed in the lying position using the car seat belt. The base is equipped with Isofix hooks and an adjustable stabilizing leg that can be set at 12 different heights. The base also hasBlind Lock - a system that prevents accidental removal of the seat, e.g. by an older sibling.
Primo Viaggio Lounge has 2 shallowing inserts, thanks to which it perfectly adapts to the child's size. The headrest is equipped with theEPSsystem and an additional part that protects the toddler's back and hips. The seat belts are three-point and have clips in the chest area to better keep them in the right position. The seat has an independent canopy made of fabric with a UV 50+ filter and side mosquito nets allowing for proper air ventilation inside. The hood can be enlarged to a large size thanks to an additional panel that can be extended by unzipping the zipper.
The seat is equipped with the Kinetic system, whose task is to absorb the kinetic energy occurring during a side collision. It also has a coating with theEPSsystem, which absorbs the force of impact during a collision, which is additionally perforated to ensure the best possible air circulation in the seat. Primo Viaggio Lounge also has an adjustable ASIP system (side protection system), whose task is to absorb part of the energy generated during a side impact. Thanks to this, the seat provides good protection for children from the very first moments.
