The Takata Midi iSize Plus seat is suitable for children up to 105 cm tall and weighing up to 19 kg. The seat can be used up to approx. 4 years of age. It meets the strict i-Size standard and has been tested for safety by independent companies. It has been given a high 3-star rating in the ADAC test. The takata midi isize plus seat is mounted on the ISOFIX base, which provides the best protection and is responsible for stabilization. The seat does not change its position while driving and is always properly installed thanks to the correct installation indicators. It can be installed both rearward and forward-facing. For increased safety and protection, it is recommended for children to travel in the takata midi isize plus in a rearward-facing position for the entire duration of its use.

Forward and backwards-facing travel

The Takata Midi iSize Plus can be installed backwards or forwards. The way of installing it depends on the child's height and individual preferences of parents. Forward-facing installation is possible for a child who is over 71 cm tall, i.e. about 15 months old. The takata midi isize plus model is also suitable for rearward-facing use up to 4 years of age. This is the safest position for a child, providing the best protection in case of a frontal collision.

Baby insert

The seat is suitable for travelling for infants and slightly older children. For this reason, the set of takata midi isize plus includes a padding insert, which can be used for the smallest children. It is supposed to provide the toddler with adequate support for the spine, neck and head.

5-point seat belts

The child in the seat is fastened with a 5-point harness. It has two points at the shoulders and hips and one between the legs, where the shoulder straps are fastened. Thanks to this, the child has good stability and is kept safely in the seat. Additionally, the belts are equipped with soft covers, which protect the delicate baby's skin from irritation and abrasion.

AIRPAD system for increased side protection

Additional protection in the event of a side impact is provided by the Takata Midi iSize Plus. The innovative AIRPAD system, which was developed and patented by the takata seat manufacturer, is responsible for this. It is an insert with special construction, located in the side walls of the seat. In addition, it is also used in areas where the head and neck are located, which also increases the protection of sensitive parts of the child's body.

Installation on an ISOFIX base

The takata midi isize plus seat is installed in the car using a special i-Size Base Plus. This is the fastest and most stable way to install the seat in the car. Thanks to the base you can be sure that the car seat is properly installed because the base has special indicators informing about the correct installation.
