AXKID Modukid seat for children with a height of 61 to 105 cm. AXKID Modukid is designed for children weighing up to 18 kg. So it works very well for the youngest children, but it also enables a comfortable, comfortable and safe driving for a few years, even up to 4 years old. It is a model with the ECE R129 i-Size homologation, that has successfully passed one of the most difficult and demanding TEST PLUS crash tests. It has a number of adjustments, thanks to which it can be adjusted to the height and age of a child. It is designed to travel backwards to the direction of travel, i.e. in the safest position for a child. It can be installed in the car using the ISOFIX base, which can be bought separately. Both the seat and the base are elements of a modular set created by AXKID.
Effective protection thanks to 5-point seat belts
The use of a 5-point seat belt was prompted by the increased safety of the child. 2 points are on the shoulders and 2 at the hips, while one is placed in the place where the straps are fastened between the legs of the child. This is one of the elements of the seat which is designed to significantly increase the safety of the child. Additionally, the straps are covered with a soft fabric for your baby's comfort.
Compatible with the Isofix installation base
The seat is one of the elements of the modular set. It is therefore compatible with the Isofix installation base, which can be bought separately. The base has an adjustment of the anti-rotation frame extension, which makes it possible to enlarge the space for the legs of an older and larger child. This is a function that is particularly useful when mounting the rear-facing seat.
Adjustable headrest
The headrest has a height-adjustable function, which allows you to adjust the seat perfectly to your child's height. In addition, it is combined with the shoulder strap adjustment function, which makes it much easier and quicker to get both of these elements in the right position. The headrest is additionally lined with memory foam, which translates into the comfort and convenience of your baby while he or she is asleep. Thanks to the adjustment to the baby's position, it provides a very good support for both the head and the spine. In addition, it is possible to adjust the tilt of the seat in 3 different positions, which also contributes to comfort while sleeping. A headrest for the smallest children is included.
Additional side protection
The effectiveness of the child's protection and its safety is influenced by, among others, the presence of an adjustable and properly shaped headrest and deep side walls, but also by additional panels. They form the ASIP system, which the manufacturer developed in a cooperation with a German research institute. The panels are removed and installed every time on the door side, depending on which place the child travels on the back seat. If it is in the middle, it is not necessary to mount the panels.
Rear-facing installation
Only some models of child seats in this weight range are suitable for a rear-facing installation. Until recently, only newborn babies and several-month-old children travelled in this position. The AXKID Modukid model allows the child to ride in the safest position for up to 4 years, with a weight of up to 18 kg and a height of 61-105 cm. This provides an effective protection for the toddler, especially in the event of a frontal collision.
