It is suitable for children weighing up to 18 kg, so it will be suitable for both toddlers and several year old children. The BabySafe Akita model is mounted only backwards to the direction of travel, i.e. in the best and safest position for a child. It has positively passed the rigorous and extremely demanding Test Plus, confirming its effectiveness in protecting the child in the event of a possible collision. It has the ECE R44/04 homologation. Backward-facing installation
The BABYSAFE AKITA is supposed to be mounted facing backwards. It provides an effective protection in the event of the most frequent collision - a frontal collision. In this position, a child weighing up to 18 kg can travel in the seat. Thanks to a special design, even a 4-year-old can ride in a backwards-facing seat.
The best protection thanks to the seat belts
The seat has integrated 5-point seat belts. They securely hold the child in place, providing an effective protection in the event of a collision. 2 points are located on the shoulders as well as in the hip area and 1 between the legs where the belts are fastened with a buckle. They ensure that your child is perfectlu stabilised.
Universal installation
The BabySafe Akita is attached to the car seat with the 3-point car belt and the lower anchoring belts. This is a universal installation that can be used in any car, even if it does not have an ISOFIX anchor. Anchoring belts provide even more stable mounting and keep the seat in place.
Safety confirmed by tests
The quality, safety and effectiveness of its protection is confirmed by the positive result of the Test Plus crash tests. It is one of the most demanding tests of this type. It also informs the parent that the safety of the seat exceeds the standards set by the homologation.
