BeSafe iZi Modular X1 i-Size
BeSafe iZi Modular X1 car seat is designed for children weighing up to 18 kg. It can be used by children from 6 months to 4 years of age, with a height of 61 to 105 cm. The universal model is suitable for both rear and forward mounting. It complies with UN R129 (i-Size) homologation. The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 is an improved version of its iZi Modular i-Size predecessor, but like this model, it is mounted in the car using the iZi Modular i-Size base. It has also been enhanced with several new features, which have allowed to increase both child safety and the comfort of travelling. It uses an additional SIP+ side protection, Dynamic Force Absorber™ technology and special belt overlays to provide extra shoulder space for your baby.
Rearward facing travel up to 4 years of age
Rearward facing travel is the safest position for children. It is recommended to install the seat in this way as long as possible. The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 allows rearward travel up to 4 years of age. Children between 61 and 105 cm tall can be transported in this way. The alternative is a forward-mounting system, which can be used for children between 88 and 105 cm tall.
Innovative safety system
The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 has an additional SIP+ support in addition to the SIP side protection system built into the shell. Both systems are designed to provide your child with an increased protection in case of a side impact. SIP+ is a special cover mounted to the side wall of the seat from the door side. It reduces the distance between the door and the seat. It is easy to remove and put on. It is not necessary to install it if the seat is in the middle of the back seat.
Dynamic Force Absorber™ in the headrest
Unlike its predecessor, the BeSafe iZi Modular X1 has a special headrest that uses the modern Dynamic Force Absorber™ technology. It is distinguished by its special design. It is made of foam, which creates zones of different flexibility. From the inside the headrest bends, while from the outside it always remains rigid. It is a form of shock absorption in the event of a collision. The material consists of V-shaped holes arranged interchangeably, so that it does not deform permanently, but returns to its original position.
Comfortable travel on short and long journeys
The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 car seat provides a comfortable travel for children from 6 months to 4 years of age. This is made possible by adjusting the legroom, which can be adjusted for larger and older children. The headrest grows with the child and can be placed at one of 10 different levels. Together with the headrest the position of the harness holding the child in the seat changes. The interior of the seat is made of special materials and Two-Fit Cushions™ inserts. They show the ability to adjust to the body and position of the child.
Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads™
The shoulder pads have not only a thinner design but also an additional incision in the shoulder area of the child. This gives your baby more freedom of movement with a high level of safety. The pads are designed and manufactured according to the guidelines of the German Back Health Association (Aktion Gesunder Rücken, AGR).
Correct and robust installation
The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 car seat is installed using an ISOFIX base. Sound and visual indicators inform about the correctness of its installation. After the installation it is possible to adjust the seat tilt position, so that it is adjusted to the tilt angle of the back seat as well as the position of the child. Thanks to the Magnetic Belt Assistants™ system, inserting and removing the child from the seat is easier.
