POLED Y-FIX is a model designed for children of different age groups. The large weight range, which includes as many as three weight groups, has made it a product suitable for toddlers and larger children. This is due to the adjustable elements of the seat, which adjust to the young traveller's height. The model has as many as 10 heights of headrest setting, with which the inner harness can also be adjusted. What distinguishes the POLED Y-FIX is the possibility to use a 5-point car seat belt even in the case of children weighing up to 25 kg, which means that a child can use this type of belt even up to 6 years of age.
Comfortable travelling position
The manufacturers of the POLED Y-FIX seat also took care of the child's travelling comfort. In the event of longer journeys, when the child wants to take a nap, it is easy to adjust the seat to its resting position. It allows the seat to be tilted back by 15°. However, it is important to remember that the optimum position for a larger child is the most upright one and this will be the most preferred one.
Innovative overload reduction system

This system is based on a special element of the so-called load limiter which is mounted at the back of the seat. On impact, it reduces body shocks by adjusting the belt tension and minimises the risk of serious injury. The POLED Y-FIX features a curved design that also has an impact on safety as it effectively dissipates forces during an impact. The headrest is also designed to protect the children. The headrest is V-shaped and protects the child's head during a side impact.
Three-stage side impact protection
The special design of the POLED Y-FIX provides three-stage protection for your child in the event of a side impact. This guarantees maximum safety. The first stage involves the absorption of the impact force by the radial shield structure, which is the outermost part of the seat. In the second stage the force is distributed over the streamlined shape of the entire shell, and in the final stage the impact energy is absorbed by the inner layer filled with EPS foam.
