The group 1/2/3 seat is designed for children weighing 9-36 kg, i.e. until the end of the period of mandatory transport of children in the child seat (up to 12 years of age). This is the second type of seat after the carrier. Seats in this weight group grow with your child. They are usually equipped with various adjustments as well as tilt and backrest extension options in the shoulder area. They also have internal harnesses, usually 5-point harnesses, which can be removed and replaced by car seat belts depending on the weight of the child and the model of the seat. The movable headrest allows for perfect adjustment of its height to the height of the child, so as to properly protect the head and neck of the child during an accident. These seats are usually mounted in a forward-facing (FWF) position. This type of seat is mounted using the ISOFIX connectors, Top Tether or the car seat belts.
