Axkid engineers have achieved the impossible: they created a rear-facing car seat up to 28 kg (125 cm) that meets the rigorous Plus Test standards, while remaining extremely flexible in installation. The absence of cumbersome tether straps makes it one of the most versatile car seats on the market.
Proven safety
In the Minikid Core, safety comes first. The seat is certified by the Plus Test and UN R129, meeting some of the strictest safety standards. It has also undergone additional testing using a 2-point seat belt and received the Swedish Plus Test certification up to 125 cm, demonstrating performance in demanding test conditions. The rear-facing design reduces forces acting on the neck and spine during frontal collisions, while the support leg, anti-rotation bar, and side-impact protection work together to create a stable and secure environment. The anti-rotation bar features three positions and can be extended to provide extra legroom when needed. Thanks to its durable construction and well-designed safety features, it ensures reliable protection in modern vehicles.
Rear-facing safety from birth
The Minikid Core is designed to support your child throughout the early years. Approved for children from 40 to 125 cm and up to 28 kg, it allows rear-facing travel (RWF) from birth up to approximately 7 years of age. The seat features an 8-step adjustable headrest, and the included infant insert provides proper support from day one. As your child grows, the spacious seating area and tall backrest help maintain a comfortable and safe rear-facing position for as long as possible, in line with the safest recommendations.
Everyday simplicity
The Minikid Core is designed to simplify everyday use. Its open and spacious design makes it easy to place your child in the seat and quickly and securely fasten the internal harness, whether you're heading out for a short trip or a longer journey. The seat also offers two recline positions, providing a comfortable sleeping position for younger children, while allowing older children to sit more upright and reduce the space the seat occupies in the car.

Thanks to this combination, the Minikid Core is one of the easiest rear-facing car seats to install using a seat belt, both in cars equipped with ISOFIX and those without it.
