An ISOFIX base is usually just a "connector" between the car and the seat. But the FamilyFix Slide Pro is something more – it is a device that transforms the comfort of using a car. Thanks to the patented rail mechanism, the base allows you not only to rotate the seat towards the door (FlexiSpin), but also to slide it out beyond the car's perimeter. It is the only system on the market holding the AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken) certificate, confirming real relief for the parent's spine.
SlideTech™ – The seat served on a platter
This is a game-changing innovation. With one hand movement, you slide the seat several centimeters outside the vehicle.
Benefit: You buckle your child up while standing in a natural, upright position. You don't have to "dive" into the car, which is a lifesaver in tight parking spaces and for parents with back problems (or moms after C-sections).
FlexiSpin – One-hand rotation
In addition to sliding out, the base offers full 360-degree rotation.
Smart Rotation: The FlexiSpin system works so smoothly that you can rotate the seat with one hand while holding your child in the other. This facilitates not only putting the little one in but also changing the direction of travel (for older children).
Modular System
Buy once, use for 4 years. The base is the foundation for two stages of growth:
For Infants: You attach car seats from the 0-13 kg group (e.g., Pebble 360 Pro or the modular Coral Slide Pro).
For Toddlers: When the child grows, you attach the Pearl XL Slide Pro seat to the same base (up to 105 cm with the internal harness, and then up to 150 cm with the three-point seat belt). The slide-out function works with both seats!
Secure installation (Click & Go)
The base utilizes the ISOFIX system and a support leg.
Indicators: You don't have to guess if everything is right. Visual indicators on the leg and base change color from red to green only when the seat is correctly locked.
8stars Expert View (Is it worth the extra cost?)
The FamilyFix Slide Pro base is more expensive than standard rotating bases. Is it worth it? If you plan to drive a lot, have a low car (requiring bending down), or simply value ergonomics – definitely yes. It is the only product on the market that mechanically solves the problem of parent "back pain". Physiotherapists love it. Remember, however, that to fully unlock its potential, you need a "Pro" series seat (Coral Slide Pro or Pearl 360 Pro/XL).
Important: The base features a rotation lock (TravelSafe) that allows you to lock the seat rear-facing (RWF) until 15 months of age, preventing the mistake of turning the little one forward-facing too early.
