The Flex FIX 2 car seat features an innovative headrest design with Dynamic Force Absorber™ side protection effect. It complies with the latest homologation (UN R 129) so it meets the highest safety requirements.
The modular protection system ensures maximum safety. The seat does not have armrests to eliminate inappropriate use of the seat such as a misplaced lap belt, which can eventually lead to serious abdominal injuries.
To further ensure your child's safety, the seat is equipped with SIP+ side protection, which is located on the outer shell of the seat.
Although the Flex FIX 2 car seat has been approved according to the new homologation without the SIP+ overlay, our experience and additional tests carried out show that the SIP+ overlay provides even greater safety for the child because it significantly reduces the load on the child in the event of a side impact crash.
The SIP+ overlay should always be installed on the side of the car door.
Comfort
The height of the backrest can be adjusted from 100 to 150 cm with the help of knobs located on the sides of the seat, thanks to which the adjustment can be made even when the child is in the seat. The seat is also equipped with the possibility of reclining the backrest - an extremely useful feature during long trips.
Experience gained from the functioning of the Pregnancy Seat Belt Adapter inspired us to include a crotch belt guide in the Flex FIX 2 seat. This integrated solution prevents the so-called "diving" (slipping under the belt during a crash) and guarantees the correct course of the lap belt.
The high-quality magnet closure makes it easy to fasten and unfasten.
The V-shaped headrest perfectly supports your baby's head while sleeping and provides adequate visibility on the sides. It was developed to coordinate with the integrated headrests in the car.
An additional advantage is the placement of a handle at the top of the headrest, thanks to which you can safely carry the seat.
To eliminate problems with the ISOfix connectors retracting when clipping them in, a locking device has been placed in the front of the seat, thanks to which you can easily and quickly clip the seat into the car's connectors without any problems.
